6,485 Miles — more or less

My journey starts this Wednesday, but the preparation and fretting are well underway. The friendly people at Amtrak (with help from the unfriendly ones on occasion) confirmed my Rail Pass and scheduling, complete with 3 luxurious-to-me sleeping berths along the way.
